About the Porsche 911

Those three numbers command instant respect: 9-1-1. Not just a legend in the United States, this designation is a global icon. But we’re not talking about first responders — we’re talking about a sports car that made history.

Whether Ferry Porsche realized the impact of his design at the end of the 1950s is hard to say. Together with Erwin Komenda, he was tasked with creating a new Porsche to succeed the aging 356. The requirements were minimal: wheelbase under 2.20 m, rear engine and drive. And above all, unmistakable Porsche spirit at first glance — an ethos that still defines every car from the brand today.

Once launched as the sportiest option, now even the base model boasts the legendary Carrera nameplate. And rightfully so: even the standard version rockets from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 s. With at least 350 PS and a roaring 6,600 rpm, the Carrera nearly reaches 300 km/h. The top-tier GT3 and Turbo variants? They can push well beyond 320 km/h… Undeniably an unforgettable experience!
