Where we come from

Drive the dream car instead of just talking about it.

That is what DRIVAR is for: owners rent out their sports car through us instead of leaving it in the garage — and renters find the car they have been waiting for. Flexible, affordable and with people who care.

Our story

  1. Founded

Built on the experience of Motion Drive, Germany's largest sports car rental company.

  2. In English

    DRIVAR launches an English-language version.

  3. Austria and Switzerland

    The first markets outside Germany.

  4. USA, UK, Australia, Dubai

Four new markets in a single year.

  5. Over 1,000 cars

For the first time, more than a thousand cars in the portfolio.

  6. drivar.com and a new HQ

The new platform goes live, and the team moves into its new home in Magdeburg.

What you can rely on

  1. Registered and insured.

Every car on DRIVAR is registered as a rental vehicle and covered by self-drive rental insurance.

  2. Checked before anyone drives.

We check owners and renters in advance. Dubious offers and questionable requests never get through.

  3. One point of contact, all the way.

Before, during and after the rental, we stay reachable for renter and owner alike.

  4. Many partners, plenty of choice.

We work with rental companies, dealers and private owners. That is how you find so many different cars in one place.
