About the Lamborghini Urus
What began as a tractor manufacturer—and, legend has it, was born from a feud between Ferruccio Lamborghini and Enzo Ferrari over a 250 GT—has grown into a global name for individuality, power, speed, and pure passion. Models like the Diablo and Gallardo broke records and sparked feverish excitement among car fans and the industry.
The Gallardo, their bestselling model ever, takes its name from the fighting bull breeder Francis Gallardo. One of the five main bloodlines of bulls (Cabrera, Miura, Navarra, Vazquena, Gallardo) is named after him. Between 2003 and 2013, 14,022 were produced—making the Gallardo not just Lamborghini’s top seller, but also, at €160,000, the most affordable.
The Gallardo came with a 5-liter V10 producing 500 hp, powered by a rear-biased all-wheel drive system. The aluminum chassis was built by Thyssen Krupp in Heilbronn, painted at Audi’s Neckarsulm plant, and assembled in Sant’Agata.

The Lamborghini Urus is the super SUV among the bulls—the world’s first true Super Sport Utility Vehicle. Lamborghini combined the heart of a supercar with the versatility of an SUV.
The “base model” packs a 4-liter V8 engine with 650 hp. It tops out at 305 km/h. All-wheel drive and Lamborghini’s own LDF dual-clutch gearbox rocket this Italian masterpiece from 0–100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. Everything is displayed on three custom-designed TFT screens for the Urus. The ANIMA driving mode system on the steering wheel lets you select Strada, Sport, or Corsa. Choose Strada for relaxed cruising, Sport for spirited drivers, or Corsa for the truly bold. Each mode tweaks the engine, transmission, and chassis for a distinct experience.
